Building Stronger Families Holiday Celebration
In collaboration with Citibank (West) F.S.B., the Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) Corps, Inc. and the Building Stronger Families (BSF) program of the Housing Authorities of the City and County of Fresno will be hosting its 10th Annual Holiday Celebration at the Fresno District Fairgrounds.

The event will host one thousand (1,000) guests to include meals, entertainment and will feature the Childrens Santa Choir. Families attending the event participate in the Family Unification, Welfare to Work, Shelter Plus Care, Beyond Housing and the Family Self Sufficiency program. Each year leading up to the big event, BSF and the FSS Corps host holiday activities on Saturday mornings for children. They practice for the choir, have arts and crafts and a santa store to provide gifts for their family members. BSF also collaborates with Toys for Tots to provide toys for children.
 
Spring Wine Festival
An event that Affordable Housing Development Corporation (AHDC), Peter Herzog hosts at his residence. The event attends to about 300 guest to fund-raise for the FSS Corps. Support Fund. The event includes wine tasting, entertainment, silent auction and hor' dourves.
 
Recognition Dinner
Showcases families and their success in the program.  The FSS Corps honors individuals making great stride on their path to Self-Sufficiency.  Award categories include: Participant of the Year, Homeownership, Career Advancement, Determination/Perseverance and Academic Excellence.  The event also recognizes major donors.
